Balloon Kings New Year's Eve 2020
Jan 29th 2020
48 hours.
24 employees.
87 orders.
28,000 balloons.
New Year's Eve 2020 was Balloon Kings' busiest and biggest New Year's Eve in Balloon King's history.
Forty-eight hours of straight blowing up, assembling, and delivering balloon happiness is rigorous, but we are happy to so to ring in the new year. Our team rotates in and out during these two busy days, ensuring everyone is well-rested and ready to go. This New Year's required the onboarding of 12 seasonal employees to keep up with demands, and they worked exceptionally hard to fulfill their important roles of bagging, delivering, and hi-floating balloons. Balloon King's worked on successfully blowing up and delivering 87 total orders, totaling approximately 28,000 balloons that exited our store. Most balloon orders consisted of at least 100 balloons or more. Balloon King's worked with large name venues such as the 230 Fifth Rooftop, The Standard - Highline, and Empire Rooftop, being apart of their celebration of the new year! These venues want their parties to be next level for their party-goers and that is exactly what Balloon King's did with The Standard - Highline's event. This order required thousands of latex white and gold balloons with long foil ribbons covering the cieling in balloons. It was truly magical for guests to walk through, mingle, and dance the night away.
Balloon King's loves New Year's Eve, as it is a perfect bonding and team building moment for our kingdom to grow closer together and have memorable moments with our clients, as well as one another. Whenever our team gets together during our holiday parties, we always bring up crazy moments from past New Year's: the clients we have had the opportunity to work with, the venues we have had the honor of going to, and the incredible masterpieces we have had the creativity to build. Balloon King's will continue to ring in every New Year's with our kingdom and continue to bring many smiles to our clients.
